Meet Hannah!
Owner & Photographer
Hi there! I am a New England based photographer born and raised on a large lake located in a small town in Maine. I currently reside in Amherst, NH with my husband, our 10 year old- Jack- + our 3 cats.
The past eleven years, camera-in-hand, have been thrilling. The wild world of entrepreneurship can be the most fulfilling but challenging all in one. I thank my lucky stars daily for the life I’ve created.
Turns out art CAN pay the bills. ;)
My style is anything but ordinary, infused with emotions & truth. I tend to bring out the realness in my clients- making the moments photographed, organic. I love natural light- I'm often chasing the golden hour and placing the sunlight just so to ensure your best light & look! My down-to-earth personality and personable approach, creates a very relaxing environment and allows for creativity. When your wedding or session begins I am all yours & you become my muse. We work as equals to bring life to your vision!
I adore all my weddings but I crave small + intimate! My next most favorite thing to capture is branding sessions! Businesses! Entrepreneurs! The face + grit behind a good business blueprint! The other side of my life is filled with brand management + design, social media management + hosting a podcast all about the sexy ( and not so sexy ) side of entreprenuership!

MY WEDDING!
WE ELOPED! In April 2022! Yes, we still had professional photos taken during the ceremony + a few after (professional photos mixed with your personal shots is the greatest) but the entire day was a breeze! It was just the two of us, Elvis (because Vegas Chapels of course), a random witness + my polaroid! We live streamed the ceremony for our kiddo + family back home as well! We spent the morning getting ready together, having room service + cruisin’ in the cheesiest limo we could find on the strip! We had one goal- to have fun!!! After photographing weddings for the last 10 years I knew I wanted to keep mine simple + intimate! We splurged on incredible food + fancy champagne to end the evening!
FAST FORWARD a year to June 2023 & we through the most incredible wedding dinner party to celebrate with our kiddo, family, & friends! Our goal was to fill all the senses of our guests!
The Mallett Brothers Band played, we served multiple courses, and although it rained- we served up a beautiful aesthetic!

Jen Jones has a very photojournalistic approach with realness and truth in her work. She works hard to bring to life a story in the delivery of images. I enjoy tying our two styles together!

MEET AUSTIN!
ASSOCIATE PHOTOGRAPHER
Austin is a wedding and portrait photographer based in Boston. His approach uses a documentary style to capture every important detail of the day and a more guided style for formal portraits. Planned candids (aka plandids!) are key to his style, bringing a bit of artistic direction to bring out the best of your day. Austin is constantly on the hunt for good lighting, whether it be soft window light, golden hour sunset portraits, or dramatically lit high-key shots. Outside of photography, Austin loves cooking, eating, rock climbing, and exploring New England.
Fun fact: Austin is wrapping up his PhD at Harvard Medical School where he researches human viruses! He is our in-house virus expert and brings a unique insight to our team!

Video
Nick is a photographer, videographer, and storyteller of Life in Focus. He specializes in Maine wedding videography, as well as travel, landscape and portrait photography & videography in and around Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts as well as all over the world!
His favorite places to film & photograph: his hometown of York, Maine, Acadia National Park, Los Angeles, and Oahu, Hawaii!
While Nick runs & operates his own wedding company, Life in Focus, Nick and Hannah have been partnering up for the past 5 wedding seasons to deliver both photos & video!
